JUDGMENT / ORDER

Petitioner has filed Ext.P4 appeal against Ext.P3 assessment order. Along with I.A.No.13592 of 2014, petitioner has filed a copy of Ext.P6 stay petition filed before the appellate authorities. Petitioner submits that during the pendency of the appeal, steps have been taken by the respondent authorities to recover the amount by issuing Ext.P5 demand notice.
2. Heard learned Government Pleader.
3. Having regard to the aforesaid submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, I am of the view that this Court should not interfere in the proceedings pending before the appellate authority. The only direction which can be issued by this Court is to direct the appellate authority to dispose of Ext.P6 application within a time frame.
4. Under these circumstances, this writ petition is disposed of as under:
The 2nd respondent shall consider Ext.P6 and pass appropriate orders within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment. Until such time, further proceedings pursuant to Ext.P5 shall be kept in abeyance.
