The petitioners claim 64.70% additional compensation in terms of a Government Order dated 29 August 2014 and the decision taken by Yamuna Expressways Industrial Development Authority (hereinafter referred to as the 'Development Authority) on 15 September 2014.
It is for the petitioners, in the first instance, to file a representation before the Chief Executive Officer of the Development Authority.
Shri Pramod Jain, learned counsel appearing for the Development Authority states that in case such a representation is filed by the petitioners, it shall be decided at an early date.
This petition is, accordingly, disposed of with a direction that in the event the petitioners file a representation along with a certified copy of this order before the Chief Executive Officer of the Development Authority, a decision shall be taken expeditiously and preferably within a period of two months from the date of filing of the representation.
It is made clear that the Court has not adjudicated on the merits of the matter and it will be for the Chief Executive Officer to take a decision in accordance with law.
