JUDGMENT / ORDER

The petitioner has applied for a temporary permit in the route Cherthala - Kottayam where the petitioner submits that there are three regular permits which are defaulted. The petitioner's application is for a temporary permit in either of these. Petitioner has approached this Court with a prayer to direct the respondent to grant and issue temporary permit in the defaulted services. 2. If no other person has applied for a temporary permit to operate the stage carriage in that vacancy, there will be a direction to the respondent to issue a temporary permit of four months duration within three weeks from the date of production of a copy of this judgment by passing appropriate orders on Ext.P1. Needless WP(C).26043/14 2 to say, such issuance of temporary permit will be subject to the preferential claim, if any.
Writ petition is disposed of as above.
