The petitioner, the owner of stage carriage No. KL-07-AN- 2392 applied for regular permit on the route Vaikom - Kottayam. The petitioner has approached this Court with a prayer to direct the respondent to grant and issue temporary permit to the petitioner's stage carriage No.KL-07-AN-2392 on the route Vaikom - Kottayam. 2. There will be a direction to the respondent to grant and issue a temporary permit, if the regular permit application is pending consideration; of four months duration within 'two weeks' from the date of production of a copy of this judgment by passing appropriate orders on Ext.P2. Needless to say, such issuance of temporary permit will be subject to the preferential claim if any, and subject to finalisation of timings in a properly convened timing conference.
The writ petition is disposed of.
