JUDGMENT / ORDER

The petitioner has filed this criminal original petition, under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, seeking direction to the 2nd respondent to conduct a speedy investigation and file a final report in Crime No.56 of 2016 on the file of the 2nd respondent police.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents.
3. A perusal of the F.I.R would go to show that it was registered for the offences punishable under Section 420 I.P.C.
4. Going by the nature of the allegations and the number of accused involved in this case, this Court is of the view that it will take some time to complete the investigation by the respondent. Hence, the criminal original petition is disposed of with a direction to the 2nd respondent to expedite the investigation, in Crime No.56 of 2016, and file a final report before the concerned jurisdictional Magistrate Court, as expeditiously as possible.
