JUDGMENT / ORDER

When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) submitted that on the orders of the Director General of Police, the case in Crime No.2 of 2017 has been transferred from the file of District Crime Branch, Madurai, to the file of the CB CID and the case has been assigned Crime No.1 of 2017.
2. In view of the above, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw this petition with liberty and he has also made an endorsement to that effect.
3. In view of the endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty to the petitioner to file a fresh quash application, arraying the CBCID as party-respondent. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
