JUDGMENT / ORDER

This Writ petition has been filed by the petitioner for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the third respondent to consider the petitioner's application/representation, dated 21.11.2016 and 02.12.2016.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents.
3.Mr.Muniyasamy, learned Standing Counsel for TASMAC, takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the Writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.
4. Having regard to the limited scope of the prayer in the Writ petition, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Court is inclined to issue the following direction:-
?The third respondent is directed to consider the representations of the petitioner, dated 21.11.2016 and 02.12.2016, and pass appropriate order on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.?
6. Accordingly, the Writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous petition is closed.
