Sri Tarun Varma, the petitioner in person, who is a practicing advocate of this Court, states that with the passage of time this Public Interest Litigation has been rendered infructuous as the Apex Court has already taken the issue raised by the petitioner and in the meantime, a policy has also been framed.
Sri Manish Goyal, learned Additional Advocate General, who represents the State, agree with the same.
In view of the above, the Public Interest Litigation is
dismissed as infructuous.
