During the course of the argument, the counsel for the petitioner pressed only the prayer to decide Case No. 13 and 2018 and Case No. 14 of 2018, expeditiously.
The cases have been registered under Section 9-A(2) of the Uttar Pradesh Consolidation of Holdings Act, 1953.
The Consolidation Officer - II, Meerut, i.e., respondent no. 2 is directed to decide the aforesaid cases, if still pending, within a period of one year from the date a copy of this order is produced before him, in case, there is no legal impediment in deciding the aforesaid cases.
It is clarified that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the claim of the petitioner.
With the aforesaid direction, the writ petition is disposed of.
