ORDER:
This writ petition is filed for the following substantive relief:
“…to issue an appropriate writ, order or direction, more particularly in the nature of Writ of Mandamus, declaring the action of respondent No.2 in not declaring the result of the petitioner 4th Semester of LL.B.Degree Course for the backlog subject Law of Banking and Negotiable Instruments along with the final results of the petitioner with Hall Ticket No.01412831061 and in consequence whereof though the petitioner has obtained a rank of 213 in the entrance examination for admission into 1st year Post Graduation Degree Course and the counselling for allotment of seat is scheduled to be held from 12.10.2014 within Osmania University area and the same was adjourned to 26.10.2014 onwards is on the verge of his consideration, as being illegal, arbitrary and is in violation of Article 21 of the Constitution of India and consequently direct respondent Nos.1 and 2 to forthwith declare the results of the petitioner with respect to the 4th Semester LL.B Degree Course and further direct respondent No.3 to consider the case of the petitioner for allotment of a seat in the Post Graduation Course for the academic year 2014-15.”
At the hearing, Sri K.Srinivas, learned counsel for the petitioner, submitted that the cause in the writ petition does not survive for adjudication.
Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous.
As a sequel to dismissal of the writ petition, W.P.M.P.No.38069 of 2014 shall stand disposed of as infructuous.
