JUDGMENT / ORDER

This Civil Revision Petition is directed against the order of dismissal of the petition for condoning the delay of 45 days in filing the appeal. 2. Learned counsel appearing for the respondent would submit that the petitioner is indulging in dilatory tactics without participating in the trial, from the beginning. He would further submit that the matter is ripe for trial and the conditional order passed by the trial Court is also not complied with by the petitioner.
3. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, an opportunity is given to the petitioner/tenant to contest the matter on merits before the trial Court, on condition that he shall pay a sum of Rs.7,500/- (Rupees Seven Thousand Five Hundred only) to the respondent/landlord. The I Additional District Munsif-cum-Rent Controller, Pondicherry, is directed to complete the trial in H.R.C.O.P.No.82 of 2013 and dispose of the same within a period of three months from the date of receipt or production of a copy of this order.
4. Civil Revision Petiton stands disposed of accordingly. No costs.
Consequently, the connected C.M.P.No.18037 of 2016 is closed.
