Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution seeking to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for records pertaining to G.O.Ms.No.885, dated 20.12.2011, issued by Home (Courts-I) Department, Government of Tamilnadu, the first respondent herein read with the notification dated 26.08.2014, issued by the third respondent herein, calling for applications for
162 vacancies for the post of Civil Judge, quash the same and http://www.judis.nic.in consequently direct the third respondent to issue a fresh notification in line with G.O.Ms.No.504, dated 13.09.2011, issued by Home (Court-I) Department, Government of Tamilnadu without prescribing any age limit, as per the law laid down by the Supreme Court.

JUDGMENT
[Judgment of the Court was made by RAJIV SHAKDHER, J.]
1. After some arguments, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks to withdraw the captioned petition with liberty to challenge the relevant rules, i.e., Tamil Nadu State Judicial Service (Cadre and Recruitment) Rules, 2007 (in short, “Rules”), reference to which is made in the order dated 21.01.2012, passed in W.P.No.3413 of 2012.
1.1. An endorsement to that effect has been made on the paper book.
2. The writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty as prayed for, albeit, in accordance with law. Resultantly, pending applications shall stand dismissed. There shall, however, be no http://www.judis.nic.in order as to costs.
3. Furthermore, liberty is also given to the petitioner to make a representation on the administrative side to the Hon'ble The Chief Justice for incorporating suitable amendment in the aforementioned Rules.
