JUDGMENT / ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by HULUVADI G.RAMESH, J.) Alleging that the order passed by this Court dated 20.07.2016 in W.P.No.24832 of 2016 has not been complied with, the present contempt petition has been filed.
2. When this contempt petition was taken up, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent has submitted that the order passed in the writ petition has been complied with. He has also filed a compliance report of the respondent, in which it is stated that after conducting enquiries on 21.06.2017 and 27.06.2017, in exercise of the powers conferred under Section 14 of the Securitisation and Reconstruction of Financial Assets and Enforcement of Security Interest Act, 2002, orders have been passed vide proceedings of the District Magistrate and District Collector, Kancheepuram in R.C.No.M3/21528/2016 dated 29.06.20216 with a direction to the Tahsildar, Alandur to take possession of the subject property with due verification of genuineness of land records and hand over to the same to the petitioner-bank under proper acknowledgement. Thus, it is stated that the order passed by this Court in the writ petition has been complied with.
3. Recording the above, the contempt petition is closed.
