1. Heard Mr. B.D. Datta, learned Counsel for the petitioner and Mr. R.H. Rupaleriya, learned Assistant Government Pleader for the respondent.

Mr. R.H. Rupareliya, learned Assistant Government Pleader waives notice of Rule on behalf of the respondent.
2. Considering the issue involved in the present petition and the prayers as prayed for in the petition, with consent of the learned Advocates appearing on behalf of the respective parties the matter is taken up for final disposal forthwith.
3. The only prayer which is prayed for is the case which is remanded by Gujarat Revenue Tribunal by way of order dated 7.7.1983 passed in Revision Application No. TEN.B.R. 132 of 1982 be directed to be disposed of in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible.
4. Considering the fact that the Tribunal has been pleased to remand the matter to Mamlatdar ALT as observed in its order dated 7.7.1983, almost a period of 29 years have passed, the respondents are hereby directed to expedite the proceedings so remanded. Mr. Rupareliya, on instructions from the respondent, states that the proceedings so remanded by Gujarat Revenue Tribunal vide order dated 7.7.1983 passed in aforesaid Revision Application shall be decided and disposed of after hearing the parties in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible latest by 31.3.2013.
5. In view of the above, the respondent is directed to adhere to the statement made by learned Assistant Government Pleader and decide the matter on its own merits without being influenced by the direction issued by this Court, after affording an opportunity of being heard to the parties and decide the same latest by 31.3.2013.
6. With this observation, the petition stands allowed to the aforesaid extent. Rule made absolute with no order as to costs. Direct service permitted.
