JUDGMENT / ORDER

Hon'ble Ajai Kumar Srivastava-I,J.
Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned A.G.A. for the State through Video Conferencing.
Issuance of notice to opposite party nos. 2 and 3 is dispensed with.
This petition seeks issuance of a writ or direction in the nature of certiorari for quashing the impugned F.I.R. dated 7.4.2021 registered as Case Crime/F.I.R. No. 286 of 2021 under Section 366 I.P.C., police station Gomti Nagar, district Lucknow.
Learned counsel for the petitioner has stated that the petitioner and respondent no. 3 are major and they have married with each other out of their own free will at Gurudwara Guru Nanak Niwas Sahib, village Karor Kalan, Tehsil Kharar, district Mohali on 15.4.2021. Copy of the marriage certificate has been annexed as Annexure No.1 to this petition. In support of age proof of the respondent no. 3, the petitioner has annexed Aadhar Card as annexure no. 3 according to which she has almost attained the age of majority.
After hearing learned counsel for the parties and going through the record, the writ petition is disposed of with the observation that till the credible evidence is collected or till the filing of the police report under Section 173(2) Cr.p.c., whichever is earlier, petitioner shall not be arrested in connection with the aforesaid case crime number. However, the petitioner shall co-operate with the investigation. The police authorities shall also ensure that no harm is caused to the life and personal liberty of the petitioner.
