This contempt case was instituted alleging disobedience to the order dated 30.04.2013 passed by this Court in WP MP No.16984 of 2013 in WP No.13893 of 2013. By the said order, this Court directed the respondents to consider the petitioners’ representations dated 22.04.2011 and 17.05.2011 in accordance with law. It is now stated that upon due consideration of the said representations, the Nellore Municipality passed individual orders dated 28.06.2014.
2. In the light of the aforestated development, the order passed by this Court stands duly complied with. In the event the petitioners are aggrieved by the proceedings dated 28.06.2014, they necessarily have to challenge the same independently in accordance with law and the same cannot be made the subject matter of enquiry in this contempt case.
3. The contempt case is accordingly closed. No order as to costs.
