JUDGMENT / ORDER

The present criminal original petition has been filed to call for the records in C.C.No.814 of 2013 pending on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Alanthur, Chennai and quash the same.
2. Today, the petitioners along with their counsel on record and the second respondent/ defacto complainant are present. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the first respondent is also present. The identities of the parties have been verified. They have submitted that the dispute between them has been amicably settled. They have also filed a joint compromise memo dated 22.06.2017 signed by all the parties to that effect which is form part of this order. When this Court enquired the parties, particularly, second respondent / defacto complainant, about the factum of compromise and the terms of the compromise, he admitted the same. He also expressed no objection in quashing the case pending in C.C.No.814 of 2013.
3. The Joint Compromise Memo dated 22.06.2017 signed by all the parties is taken on record.
4. In view of the above, this Criminal Original Petition is allowed and the case pending in C.C.No.814 of 2013 on the file of the first respondent is quashed.
