2. The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondent to act upon his representation dated 7.2.2017 and consequently to direct the survey of his property at S. No. 268, Vadavalli Village, Coimbatore, through the Taluk Surveyor.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has paid the necessary charges for surveying the property, however, the respondent has not completed the exercise so far. Further, the learned counsel submitted that one Manickavasagam, S.Kannappan, S.Selvaraj and Murugesan are trying to encroach into the petitioner's property. The petitioner has also mentioned about the attempt made by them to encroach his land in his representation dated 07.02.2017.
4. Mr.S.V.Doraisolaimalai, learned Additional Government Pleader, appearing for the respondent submitted that the respondent may be directed to survey the land in S. No.268, Vadavalli Village, Coimbatore, after giving notice to the four persons mentioned in the representation.

In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, I direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 07.02.2017 for surveying the land in S.No. 268, Vadavalli Village, Coimbatore and pass orders in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after giving notice to Manickavasagam, S.Kannappan, S.Selvaraj and Murugesan and also to other interested parties, With this observation, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
