ORDER:
This Writ Petition is filed for a mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in not paying the amount covered by work order bearing L.S. Agreement No.4 of 2009 and 2010, dated 24-3-2009 to the petitioner inspite of representation dated 16-1-2014 as illegal and arbitrary.
The petitioner averred that in connection with the above mentioned work entrusted to him, a sum of Rs.48,557-75 ps. is due to him and that in that connection he has made a representation on 16-1-2014 which is not being considered by the respondents.
After hearing Sri C. Hanumantha Rayudu, learned Counsel for the petitioner and Sri O. Manohar Reddy, learned Standing Counsel for the respondents, this Court is of the opinion that the interests of justice would be met if respondent No.2 is directed to consider the grievance of the petitioner as stated to have been ventilated in his representation dated 16-1-2014.
Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed with the direction to respondent No.2 to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 16-1-2014, take appropriate decision and communicate the same to the petitioner within a period of one month from the date of receipt of this order.
As a sequel to the disposal of the Writ Petition, WPMP No.26317 of 2014 filed for interim relief is disposed of as infructuous.
