JUDGMENT / ORDER

The appellants in C.M.A.No.3 of 2016 on the file of Subordinate Court, Mettur, have filed the above Civil Revision Petition to direct the Lower Appellate Court to dispose of the application in I.A.No.4 of 2016, within a time frame.
2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that though the petitioners have filed the stay petition in I.A.No. 4 of 2016 in C.M.A.No.3 of 2016 even in the year 2016 itself, the Lower Appellate Court has not disposed of the same yet. Further, the learned counsel submitted that the respondent is taking time periodically for filing counter.
3. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and also taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the Civil Revision Petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the Subordinate Court, Mettur to dispose of the stay petition in I.A.No. 4 of 2016 in C.M.A.No.3 of 2016, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and report the same to the Registry of this Court.
With this observation, the Civil Revision Petition is disposed of.
