Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Standing Counsel for the respondents 1 to 3.
The petitioners have prayed that a direction be issued upon respondents to grant additional compensation amount of 64.70% on the basis of Government Order dated 29.08.2014.
As till date authorities have not taken any decision on the claim of the petitioners, we consider it appropriate to dispose off the writ petition by requiring the authorities to take decision on the claim of the petitioners.
In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on merit of the case, as also as to whether such compensation is payable to the petitioners or not, liberty is given to the petitioners to represent their claim before Chief Executive Officer of Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority. If any such representation is filed along with certified copy of this order, annexing all the documents in support of the same, within three weeks from today, the concerned respondent shall pass reasoned and speaking order in accordance with law, preferably, within a period of next eight weeks.
With the aforesaid direction/observations, writ petition is disposed off.
