This Crl.P. coming on for admission, this day the Court made the following:
ORDER Petitioners have filed this petition for quashing of the proceedings in Crime No.332/2018 of Hulimavu police station. The said case is registered against the petitioners and one Rajesh Sheelvanth for the offences punishable under Sections 427, 506, 504, 447 of IPC on the basis of the complaint of respondent No.2.
2. Petitioners, respondent No.2 and the learned High Court Government Pleader are present. Petitioners and respondent No.2 are duly identified by their respective Counsel.
3. Petitioners and respondent No.2 file joint Memo for compounding the offences. All the offences in the case are compoundable one. Respondent No.2 submits that he is voluntarily compounding the offences. Under the circumstances, the parties are permitted to compound the offences in Crime No.332/2018 of Hulimavu police station.
4. Accordingly, petition is allowed. In view of compounding of the offences, proceedings in Crime No.332/2018 are hereby quashed.
In view of disposal of the petition, I.A.No.1/2019 does not survive for consideration and disposed of accordingly.
