JUDGMENT / ORDER

This petition has been filed to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate Court No.II, Thoothukudi, to dispose the case in C.C.No.251 of 2016, within a time frame.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the respondent and perused the materials available on record.
3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is now working in the airport authority of India. He wants the speedy disposal of the case in C.C.No.251 of 2016, on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate Court No.II, Thoothukudi.
3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), on instructions, would submit that in this case, the Trial court fixed the next date of examination of witnesses 1 to 5 on 14.03.2017.
4. In view of the above submission, this Court is of the view that since the Trial Court has fixed the date of examination of witnesses on 14.03.2017, there is no need to pass further orders in this petition. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of. However, the learned Judicial Magistrate Court No.II, Thoothukudi, is directed to examine the witnesses in C.C.No.251 of 2016 from 14.03.2017 onwards, and thereafter, list the case on day-to-day basis and dispose of the same, within a period of 12 weeks from 14.03.2017.
