This petition is filed seeking a direction to the 4th respondent to register a First Information Report and investigate pursuant to the orders of the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Allikulam Complex, Chennai in Crl.M.P.No.6795/2015 dated 24th July 2017

It is brought to my notice that the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Allikulam Complex, Chennai in Crl.M.P.No.6795/2015 dated 24.07.2017 has directed the respondents to register the complaint. Inspite of the same, the order has not been complied which necessitated the petitioner to file the present petition. It is needless to point out that when an order is made under
Section 156(3) of Cr.P.C, the Investigating Officer is bound to comply with the directions therein. Nevertheless, since the order has not been complied, it would be appropriate to direct the fourth respondent to register the petitioner's complaint dated 24.07.2017 and conduct a proper investigation in accordance with law. Final report/charge sheet shall be filed within a period of 90 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
3. In the result, the Criminal Original Petition is allowed with the above directions.
