ORDER:
Petitioner, who is a Mutawalli of Wakf institution, Jama Masjid, Jallapur village, Allampur Taluka, Manopad Mandal, Mahabubnagar District, complains of errors in the notification published with regard to the Wakf institution by the A.P. Wakf Board. Petitioner has been representing to the Board for rectifying the mistakes and issuance of an Errata notification and the said request appears to be pending from 2012 without any action. Hence, the present writ petition.
2. Learned counsel for the petitioner relies upon the latest representation made by the petitioner on 28.02.2014 and submits that no action is taken by the Board.
3. Learned standing counsel for the Board submits that a senior officer is already appointed by the Board to conduct an enquiry into the complaint of the petitioner and for taking appropriate necessary action.
In view of that, the writ petition is disposed of directing the Wakf Board to conduct an appropriate enquiry and take a decision, on the request of the petitioner, expeditiously, in any case, within a period of three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. As a sequel, the miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
