The sole prayer of the petitioner is that the application filed by the petitioner on 11.2.2021 for grant of a firearm licence was not being considered by the respondent no.2. A prayer has, therefore, been made for expeditious disposal of the aforesaid application.
Learned Standing Counsel states that all endeavour shall be made to decide the aforesaid application.
It is, therefore, directed that the application filed by the petitioner on 11.2.2021 for grant of a firearm licence be decided within a period of three months from the date of presentation of a copy of this order, if there is no other legal impediment. The copy of this order shall be duly certified by the learned counsel for the petitioner.
The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of.
