This petition has been filed with the allegation that petitioner and her husband both are working in Baroda Uttar Pradesh Gramin Bank. While her husband is posted at Bareilly, petitioner has been sent to Pilibhit. It is stated that in terms of the circular issued by the Bank, as far as possible both husband and wife should be posted at one place. A representation in that regard has also been made which has not been considered, and therefore, petitioner is before this Court.
Sri Amrish Sahai, learned counsel for the respondent Bank submits that the competent authority shall take an appropriate decision to place both husband and wife at one place, depending upon availability of post and administrative exigency. The circular issued by Government of India dated 18.8.2014 shall also be adhered to.
In view of the above, this writ petition stands disposed of with a direction upon the respondent no.2 to examine petitioner's claim for the couple to be posted in one city, in terms of the applicable circulars issued by the Bank, as also by the Govt. of India, by passing an appropriate order, within a period of three months from the date of presentation of certified copy of this order.
