Petitioner has sought quashing of select list prepared for the post of Block Education Officer by the respondent Commission on 30.1.2021.
Preliminary objection is raised by Sri Avnish Tripathi, appearing for the respondents to the maintainability of the writ petition on the ground that none of the selected candidates has been arrayed as a party.
Objection raised by the respondents apparently has force, inasmuch as none of the selected candidate has been impleaded as a party in the writ petition. Law is settled that in the absence of impleadment of selected candidates or at least some of them in the representative capacity, such writ petition would not be maintainable.
Writ petition, accordingly, is dismissed.
