Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

At this stage of the hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner had submitted that it would suffice if the petitioner is permitted to make a representation to the third respondent, giving details about the strength of the students, as well as the strength of the teachers in the petitioner School and if the third respondent is directed to dispose of the same, in accordance with G.O.Ms.No.525, School Education (D1) Department, dated 29.12.1997, within a specified period.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the respondents has no objection for this Court passing such an order.
4. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsels appearing for the parties concerned, the petitioner is permitted to make a representation to the third respondent, giving details about the strength of the student, as well as the strength of the teachers in the petitioner School, within a period of two weeks from today, and on such representation being submitted, the third respondent is directed to pass appropriate orders thereon, in accordance with G.O.Ms.No.525, School Education (D) Department, dated 29.12.1997, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks thereafter.
5. With the above directions, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
