Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the respondents.
Present Writ Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India has been filed for issuing a writ of mandamus commanding the respondents to allot the petitioner's Institution as self centre of examination for conducting the U.P. Board Examination 2020.
It is contended by learned counsel for the petitioners that the petitioner's College applied for the self centre of examination for conducting the High School and Intermediate Examination for the year 2020 and fulfilled all the criteria as laid down in the Government Order dated 16.10.2019, but in the final list published by the respondents, name of the petitioner's College did not find place. The petitioner in this regard has filed an objection/representation dated 3.12.2019 well within time, which is still lying undecided.
Under these circumstances, direction is issued to the respondent no.2 Secretary, Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad,U.P., Allahabad, to decide the representation of the petitioner dated 3.12.2019, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three weeks from the date of production of a certified copy of this order before him.
With the aforesaid direction, the writ petition stands disposed of Order Date :- 20.12.2019 Akbar
