There is no representation for the petitioner or his learned counsel. Further, by order dated 23.09.2013, this Court took note of the fact that the village in question had merged with the Municipal Corporation and accordingly granted time to the learned counsel for the petitioner to take steps for impleading the Municipal Corporation, Warangal. When the matter came up for hearing again on 26.08.2014, this Court granted further time to the learned counsel for the petitioner to take steps to file an implead petition. Today, there is no representation for the petitioner and no petition has been filed in terms of the aforestated orders. It is therefore clear that the petitioner is not interested in pursuing the writ petition.
The writ petition is accordingly dismissed for non-prosecution. Status quo order dated 31.03.2004 shall stand vacated. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand dismissed in consequence.
No order as to costs.
