Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing counsel for the respondents.
The petitioner is a house wife. Her husband has been murdered and therefore she is also facing threats to her life. She therefore wants facility of gunner for her security.
The petitioner in this regard had made a representation dated 7.12.2018 before the 4th respondent, Senior Superintendent of Police, Gorakhpur.
Learned Standing counsel submits that the representation of the petitioner for gunner can be considered in the light of the Government Order dated 1.1.2016.
In view of the above, we dispose of the writ petition with the direction to the 4th respondent to get the above representation of the petitioner dated 7.12.2018 considered by the competent authority in accordance with law most expeditiously, if possible within three months.
The petition is disposed of.
