The applicants are before this Court for a direction to initiate contempt proceeding against the opposite party for wilful disobedience of the order dated 21.01.2021 passed in Writ C No.24749 of 2020 (Sushma Devi And Another Vs. State of U.P. and 6 Others).
Today when the matter was taken up, an affidavit of compliance has been filed by the counsel for the opposite party, the same is taken on record. It is stated in the affidavit of compliance that the order passed by the writ court has already been complied with by the opposite party on 16.10.2021, therefore, no further orders are required to be passed.
In view of the same, the present contempt application is dismissed. However, in case applicants are still aggrieved it is open for the applicants to approach the authority concerned, if so advised.
