The prayer made in the instant petition is for issuing direction to the trial court to decide Original Suit No.902 of 1988 instituted by the petitioner against the defendant-respondents, expeditiously.
It is pointed out that the written statement was filed in the suit long back in the year 1989 but since thereafter, the matter is hanging as the proceedings for substitution of the heirs of one of the deceased defendants remained pending.
Having regard to the fact that suit is of the year 1988, the instant petition is disposed of with direction to the trial court to make serious endeavour to decide the suit expeditiously by fixing short dates and without granting unnecessary adjournments.
