The petitioner, who is defendant in Original Suit No.39 of 1986, has filed the instant petition seeking a direction to the trial court to decide the suit within a stipulated time.
The suit in question is pending since the year 1986. According to the petitioner, the defendants are suffering irreparably on account of non-disposal of the suit.
Having regard to the entire facts of the case and the submissions made, the petition is disposed of by directing the trial court to make all endeavour to decide the suit expeditiously, without granting unnecessary adjournments to the parties, preferably within a period of one year from the date of production of a certified copy of this order, provided there is no legal impediment.
