Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel.
This writ petition has been filed for issuance of mandamus commanding the respondents to allot the Centre of Board Examination High School and Intermediate Year 2020.
The contention of learned counsel for the petitioner is that his institution's name was in the list of centres for holding the board examination of High School and Intermediate Examination but all of sudden, name of the institution disappeared from the said list without any rhyme or reason. It is further contended by learned counsel for the petitioner that petitioner has filed an objection dated 15.11.2019 to that effect to the Secretary, Intermediate Education, Prayagraj, but no decision has been taken on the same.
Learned Standing Counsel submits that he has no objection in case, direction be issued for deciding the representation filed by the petitioner.
No useful purpose would be served in keeping the present writ petition pending or calling counter affidavit.
Under these circumstances, respondent no.1-Secretary, Intermediate Education, Prayagraj is directed to decide the petitioner's objection dated 11.11.2019 appended as annexure-4 at page no.28 to the writ petition, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of production of certified copy of this order.
Writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of.
