Heard Sri Prabhat Chandra Mishra, learned counsel for the petitioner, Sri Ashutosh Dwivedi, holding brief of Sri Baleshwar Chaturvedi, for the Power Corporation and the learned standing counsel.
The petitioner seeks mandamus to consider his application dated 22.10.2018, regarding disconnection of Electricity Connection No. 275694025 and adjustment of Rs.20,000/- against the bill in question.
Sri Dwivedi, learned counsel appearing for the Power Corporation states that no useful purpose would be served by keeping this petition pending, same be disposed off by giving appropriate direction to the respondent concerned.
This writ petition is disposed off with the direction to respondent no. 3 / the Executive Engineer, Electricity Distribution Division, Dakshinachal Vidyut Vitran Nigam Ltd., Etawah, to consider and dispose off the pending application of the petitioner dated 22.10.2018, or a fresh representation, as the case may be, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within 6 weeks from the date of receipt of this order, in accordance with law.
