Learned counsel for the petitioner may correct the prayer during the course of the day.
The grievance of the petitioner is that the appeal filed by him against the order dated 5.7.2014 was pending since 2015. A prayer has, therefore, been made that the appeal being Appeal No.128/M of 2015 (Case No.553/2015) (Surya Nath Yadav vs. State of U.P. & Ors.) under section 18 of the Arms Act pending in the Court of Commissioner, Azamgarh Division, Azamgarh may be decided expeditiously.
Learned Standing Counsel states that all endeavour shall be made to decide the aforesaid appeal.
Under such circumstances, without going into the merits of the case, it is directed that the Appeal No.128/M of 2015 (Case No.553/2015) (Surya Nath Yadav vs. State of U.P. & Ors.) be decided within a period of two months from the date of presentation of a copy of this order, if there is no other legal impediment. The copy of this order shall be duly certified by the learned counsel for the petitioner.
The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of.
