JUDGMENT / ORDER

Both the petitioners in the above Writ Petitions contend that the registering authority being the 1st respondent is not accepting the tax for reason of non-issuance of clearance certificate by the District Executive Officer of the Kerala Motor Transport Workers' Welfare Fund Board. However, there is nothing in the Writ Petition to show that they have approached the 3rd respondent to get a clearance certificate as is mandated in Section 8(A) of the Kerala Motor Workers' Welfare Fund Act. 2. In such circumstance, the petitioners have to seek their remedies before the authorities first and then W.P.(C) Nos. 14799 of 2014 & connected case 2 approach this Court under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, if their prayer is declined.
Hence, the Writ Petitions are closed, reserving their liberties to approach the appropriate authorities.
