JUDGMENT / ORDER

1. Draft amendment is granted. Amendment to be carried out forthwith.
2. Mr.
Kabool Chand, IFS, Chief Conservator of Forests, Vigilance is present in the Court. Upon instruction from the said Mr. Kabool Chand, Mr. Raval, learned A.G.P. has submitted that the request/proposal submitted by the petitioner will be forwarded to the Central Empowered Committee by the local competent authority/respondent No.1, for approval/sanction as contemplated under the Rules. Learned A.G.P. also clarified that as per the procedure, that the request/proposal is required to be first placed before the State Level Committee and thereafter the same can be forwarded to the Central Empowered Committee. According to learned A.G.P., this process would require sufficient time.
3. In view of the said request, three weeks' time is granted to the respondents to complete the formalities and all procedure and upon conclusion of such formalities the competent authority shall, as stipulated and assured by learned A.G.P. on instruction from Chief Conservator of Forests, forward the request/proposal submitted by the petitioner to the Central Empowered Committee (as per the submissions made by Mr. Kabool Chand, IFS, Chief Conservator of Forests, Vigilance, who is present in the Court).
4. In view of the said statement by learned A.G.P. on instruction from Mr.Kabool Chand, IFS, Chief Conservator of Forests, Vigilance and above observation, learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that he does not press the petition at this stage and would await the decision of the Central Empowered Committee.
5. Accordingly, the petitions are disposed of at this stage as not pressed/withdrawn in light of the aforesaid submission by Kabool Chand, IFS, Chief Conservator of Forests, Vigilance.
