This petition for writ is preferred to have a direction for respondents to make payment of additional compensation to the petitioner in terms of the Government Order dated 29.08.2014.
Suffice to mention that a piece of land belonging to the petitioner situated in khasra no. 1684 measuring 2.4500 hectares, khasra no.1673 measuring 0.8110 hectares and khasra no.1669 measuring 0.6700 hectare situated in village Dhanori, Pargana Dankaur, Tehsil Sadar, District Gautam Budh Nagar was acquired by the government in pursuance to the land acquisition proceedings initiated under a notification dated 01.10.2009.
The grievance of the petitioner is that the respondents are not making payment of the additional compensation to the petitioner in terms of the Government Order dated 29.08.2014. The application, as per the learned counsel for the petitioner, was submitted to the Competent Authority on 19.09.2017.
Be that as it may, looking to the all facts of the case, we deem it appropriate to dispose of the writ petition by directing the petitioner to make an appropriate representation to the authority concerned annexing thereto all relevant documents for additional compensation. If such a representation is filed within four weeks from today, the authority concerned shall decide the same by a reasoned and speaking order within a period of two months subsequent thereto.
The writ petition stands disposed of accordingly.
