Heard Sri Raj Kumar Ojha, learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Standing Counsel for the State-Respondents.
By means of this writ petition, the petitioners have come to this Court with a prayer to release the arrears of "Assured Career Promotion" indicating that since the petitioners became entitled to A.C.P. and the Director by its order dated 04.01.2017 (Annexure-14 to the writ petition) has accepted that the petitioners are entitled for A.C.P. since 2000 up till their retirement for which the petitioners is representing the various authorities, but no order have been passed.
It is submitted that the Director himself is a competent authority to decide the claim of the petitioners.
The writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the Director to pass appropriate order in accordance with law, as far as possible, within a period of four months, from the date of production of certified copy of this order before it.
