This petition is directed against an order dated 20.7.2019, whereby petitioner has been transferred from one development block to another development block within the same district. Various personal difficulties are highlighted in order to submit that the petitioner's transfer would cause irreparable injury.
Petition is opposed by Dr. A.N. Singh, learned counsel for the respondents.
Upon a pointed query made, learned counsel for the petitioner does not dispute that petitioner is working in the same block for the last 8 years.
Petitioner admittedly holds a transferable post and transfer is an incident of service. Petitioner is otherwise posted at Mirzapur and his wife is under treatment at Allahabad. His transfer from one block to another in Mirzapur would have no effect upon the treatment of petitioner's wife at Allahabad. No interference with the order of transfer is, therefore, called for. The challenge laid to the order of transfer, therefore, fails.
Writ petition lacks merit and is accordingly dismissed.
