List has been revised. Nobody is present on behalf of the applicant. Sri K. R. Singh, learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel is present on behalf of the opposite party.
The applicant is before this Court for a direction to initiate contempt proceeding against the opposite parties for wilful disobedience of the judgement and order dated 11.11.2019 passed in Writ Petition No.16660 of 2019.
In pursuance of the order passed by this Court, a counter affidavit has been filed by the opposite party. In paragraph nos.9 & 10 of the aforesaid affidavit, it is stated that pursuant to the order passed by this Court, a decision has already been taken by the opposite party on 25.06.2021. It is further stated that the amount for which the applicant was entitled, has already been paid to him at the level of the opposite party.
In this view of the matter, this Court is of the opinion that since the order passed by this Writ Court has been duly and fully complied with in its letter and spirit, no further orders are required to be passed in the present contempt application.
Accordingly, the present contempt application is dismissed.
