Sri Abrar Ahmad has put in appearance for respondent no.1 and Sri Kunal Ravi Singh has put in appearance for respondent nos.2, 3 and 4.
Petitioner is represented through Sri Raj Kumar Singh, Advocate.
By virtue of this writ petition, correction of name of the father of the petitioner has been sought to be incorporated in the mark- sheet meant for B.A.-I, B.A.-II and B.A.-III and the concerned degree issued by the University of Allahabad for the years 1997 to 2000 and further a direction has been sought to be issued to the to the respondent nos.3 and 4 to decide the amendment/correction application dated 19.10.2020.
In that regard, parties have been heard and parties are consensus on the point that in case any direction issued for considering the representation to respondent no.3 and 4, which has already been made by application dated 19.10.2020 and the same shall be considered appropriately by the authority concerned.
Considering the nature of prayer made by the petitioner, with the consent of Sri Kunal Ravi Singh representing the University, this petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to move a comprehensive representation before the third respondent (Registrar, Allahabad University, Allahabad) annexing therewith all the relevant documents to show that the name of the petitioner's father is Brijendra Pratap Singh and not Mahipal Bahadur Singh. If any such representation is filed along with certified copy of this order, the third respondent shall proceed to verify the records and thereafter take an appropriate decision to make such correction as has been prayed for, preferably, within a period of one month from the date of filing of such representation in his office.
