O R D E R Learned Additional Government Advocate accepts notice for the respondents.
2. The petitioner has sought for a direction to the respondent No.2 to fix the timings in relation to the petitioner’s permit No.17/DK/93-94 in accordance with the directions of the first respondent No.1 passed in Subject No.111/13-14 dated 30.12.2014.
3. The petitioner claims to be a holder of stage carriage permit bearing No.17/DK/93-94 renewed up to 09.05.2023. It is submitted that the petitioner has filed an application on 31.12.2013 for variation of the conditions of the permit by way of extension up to Pragathinagara and Manipal to Manchi with revision of timings. The respondent No.1 after considering the revision granted the variation, as prayed for. However, the respondent No.2 has not assigned the timings. Hence, the present writ petition.
4. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the respondent No.2 to consider the representation/application submitted by the petitioner on 15.10.2019 and assign the timings in accordance with law, pursuant to the variation of route granted by the respondent No.1. The compliance shall be made in an expedite manner in any event not later than eight weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of the order.
Writ petition stands disposed of in terms of the above.
