JUDGMENT / ORDER

When this Criminal Original Petition was taken up, the learned counsel on either side have filed a memo of compromise dated 14.12.2016, duly signed by the first petitioner on behalf of all the petitioners, and the second respondent / de facto complainant. The said memo of compromise has been attested by a Notary Public.
2. The learned counsel on either side have submitted that the second respondent got married with another person and living happily with him. It is further submitted that the complaint had been filed only on a misunderstanding between the parties, and after the advise of the elders, both sides have decided now to withdraw the cases filed against each other. Stating so, the learned counsel on either side have submitted that the matter has been settled and hence this Court may record the memo of compromise.
3. Both the parties are present and they accepted the contents in the memo of compromise as true.
4. The memo of compromise is recorded and the same shall form part of this order. In view of the memo of compromise, the First Information Report in Crime No.137 of 2013 pending on the file of the first respondent Police is quashed, and the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of in terms of the memo of compromise.
