The petitioner has raised a dispute with regard to his promotion on the post of Chief Engineer Department of Irrigation and Water Resources (Mechanical).
The allegation of the petitioner is that the recommendation of the Departmental Promotion Committee needs to be re-looked as it has incorrectly recommended the name of respondent No.4 in preference to the petitioner.
The petitioner in this regard has submitted a representation dated 07.03.2018 (annexure-6 to the writ petition) before the respondent No.1.
The grievance regarding the promotion of the petitioner can very well be taken care of by respondent No.1 on the aforesaid representation of the petitioner.
In view of aforesaid facts and circumstances, the writ petition is disposed of with the direction to the respondent No.1 to consider and decide the above representation in accordance with law most expeditiously, if possible, within a period of four months from the date of production of the authentic/certified copy of this order.
The Writ Petition is disposed of.
