JUDGMENT / ORDER

The respondent points out that Ext. P6 order of the Medical Appellate Tribunal can be impugned before the Employees' Insurance Court. Reliance is placed on Section 54-A(2)(i) of the Employees' State Insurance Act, 1948. The Employees' Insurance Court is also empowered to condone delay as per Section 77(1-A)(a) of the said Act.
2. Any appeal filed against Ext. P6 order and consequential order within one month from today shall be treated to be in time. Such consolidated appeal shall be dealt with by the Employees' Insurance Court on merits expeditiously. The petitioner as well as the respondent shall be put on notice and heard in the exercise.
The Original Petition is disposed of.
