Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Standing Counsel for the State and perused the record.
This instant writ petition has been preferred under Article 226 of the Constitution of India with a prayer to issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing the Sub Divisional Officer, Sardhana Meerut or any other State Authorities to take appropriate action upon the report dated 6.11.2017 as well as the report dated 6.1.2018 forwarded by the Block Development Officer, Sardhana, Meerut.
It is the submission of the learned counsel that there is a dispute and in spite of the order of the court, the private respondent nos. 7 to 10 have blocked the flow of the drainage of the petitioner. A complaint was made to the District Administration. However, no appropriate action has been taken for the same.
Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and perusal of the record, the respondent nos. 2 and 3 are directed to look into the matter personally with regard to the grievance of the petitioner. The respondent nos. 2 and others who will look into grievance of the petitioner are expected to take appropriate steps in accordance with law preferably within a period of four weeks after filing a fresh application with a certified copy of the order.
The writ petition is finally disposed of.
